File and Proof Manager;
Powered by OnTimeProof and installed locally at the Printer's facility, the Production Manager handles files uploaded by users through the E-Commerce site and routes them into the local workflow. The Proof Manager monitors for updates, including preflight reports, and sends automated email notices. The browser based interface allows administrators to view projects in a variety of modes and shows ongoing project status, including ordered status when projects are purchased. OnTimeProof can work with TribalSketch and in standalone mode.

I-Zoom Proofing;
I-Zoom is a new technology that enables high resolution proofing through standard browsers without the high cost of traditional systems. I-Zoom is extremely smooth and fast and lets users zoom in and out with just a scroll of the mouse wheel and to click and drag to move around inside of the proof. It can be configured to work with any workflows that involve either 1 bit TIFF production, or those that use the popular Harlequin Rip. I-Zoom can also be used in standalone mode.

These new features give Printers a variety of configuration options:

1. Printers who are currently emailing low resolution PDF proofs can now install just the low cost I-Zoom Proofing tool. This will create zoomable proofs from actual ripped jobs to a web share folder, then the printer can simply email a URL to their customer.

2. Printers looking to automate can upgrade to OnTimeProof to enable client job submission using a browser based Java upload applet instead of more complicated methods like FTP. Job ticketing and workflow integration enable automation with most any existing folder based workflow and proofs are posted back in most any format including PDF and I-Zoom. Clients can view proofs, add notes, post revisions, and approve jobs. Customizable email notices inform both administrators and clients of various job updates.

3. Printers wanting to open a web store front can upgrade to a fully customized TribalSketch E-Commerce solution. Our web marketing experts will help define your online marketing plans and provide design and message ideas to create a customized online presence. We will incorporate the design into the TribalSketch web2print application and deploy the site either in our hosting facility or with a source code license to the Printer's local hosting. Training and support enable admins to connect the TribalSketch site to the local OnTimeProof system for file and proof management and then configure products, pricing, user, and order options.

Visitors to the TribalSketch E-Commerce site can see product and pricing options with shipping and sales tax. Artwork is uploaded via the Java upload applet directly to the Printer's OnTimeProof system. Depending on the workflow setup, these files can be automatically submitted to production proofing. When proofs are posted, the TribalSketch site visitor will see links to these proofs in the online project proof tab. Visitors can easily manage revisions, projects are saved for repeat visits and when they are satisfied projects can be added to shopping cart for checkout with credit card or purchase order options.

New pricing models enable Printers to configure solutions to meet most any size budget. Zoomable proofing options start around $500 and along with OnTimeProof configurations are sold on a permanent license basis. Upgrading to additional features can be done at any time. Package deals with low cost setup and monthly hosting fit minimal budgets or full source code licensing is available for Printers looking for advanced capabilities.

 

New Features - Sales Tax Calculation & Bill My Account Monday, 09 Nov 2009

One of the important features we've not seen in other Web2Print offerings is the ability to calculate and charge proper Sales Tax for those clients in taxable zones. Bill My Account. This new feature lets site owners enter customer account and billing codes and lets customers enter Purchase Order numbers for charging online purchases to existing company accounts.
